Lovely days in Prague

“ We stayed for 12 days in Prague. The apartment was great, in Central Prague, offering everything that we saw on the photos prior to our reservation. The rooms were spacious and light. The staff at PCA is very responsible and answers to all the needs very promptly.”

“ We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment and had no problems with the facilities. Everything worked well. It is a lovely apartment. Could i just suggest that you would provide an information folder for visitors outlining the following; Location of local shops for provision of food for the apartment and times of trading opening/closing hours. (The nearest one does not operate on the weekend!) Times of opening/closing hours of trading of shops in the city Times of opening and closing hours of trading for banks, post offices Contact numbers for Emergency, Ambulance, Doctor, Dentist Contact numbers for credible taxi booking (We had major problems with over chargingby taxis).. Maybe also a list of some resturants with a local traditional menu. Any additional information on the city is always welcome for visitors. I did this for my apartment abroad and it proved very helpful for visitors. Places to visit How to organise tours of the city Suggested list of authenthic Checz resturants ”

First time visit to Prague

“ Great value for the price and great location.”

Not really 'non smoking'

“ This 3rd floor apartment was truly sensational and exactly what we had hoped for, but our experience was compromised by the presence of smoke in the apartment. We always go to great lengths to reserve non smoking accomodation, so found the smoke annoying and unpleasant. Things improved when patrons in the apartment directly below us left, but it would really be best if smoking was banned in the corridoors, apartments, and on the 2nd floor balconies. We loved Prague and would happily return - probably to a 1st floor apartment.! For those of us who don't, 'Non Smoking' has to be truly no smoking.”

A new years stay at Prague with friends

“ My daughter and I stayed there in mid December 2010. While the apartment was nice, there were no directions on how to use the washing machine, the oven and the microwave. Also, there were no microwave dishes and the cutlery lacked certain items, such as kitchen tongs. When we booked this apartment at no time were we ever told there would be a security deposit to be paid for the apartment on top of the rental. After paying the security deposit and being advised orally and in writing that this security deposit would be released the day after we left and that it was an imprint only, on checking with my Bank on arriving home, there had been a hold put on this "secuity deposit" and it was not released for at least 10 days. It would pay you to be totally upfront on your web site where you list "damsage deposit applies for group", you should also state "security deposit will be taken on arrival and may not be released for at least 10 days".”

Prague in December

“ My family rented two 2-BR apartments for our visit to Prague in December. All five of us were very pleased with the comfort of the rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms. The entry to the building, the entry stairway and the atrium are all beautiful, and the room furnishings are all modern and well-kept. The kitchen outfitting was fine for our needs and the daily maid service was efficient, thorough and pleasant. A December trip is always risky for the weather, and we had to contendwith substantial snow and ice, including on the sidewalk and paths leading to the apartment. Still we were so close to the sights of the Old Town that we enjoyed our stay very much. The main negative was that the elevator was out-of-order for most of our stay. We also found the telephone was unplugged and not working for the first day of our visit (but was brought back into service quickly by PCA staff.)”

Lovely One-week-trip between X-mas and New Years Eve

“Excellent starting point for trips all over the city, theatres and museums nearby, flat in very groomed condition (cleaning every day) but not really cosy.”

New Year's Eve with a baby

“ We are a couple with a 2 years baby. We were in the Karolina 11 apartment for 4 days around New Year's Eve. The first impression entering the apartment was "WOW!". It is very large, well furnished and with a lot of facilities and equipment: dishwasher, clothes washing mashine, hai dryer, oven, microwave, lots of kitchen equipment. They had arranged a baby cot and a baby towel for us. Maybe some parts of the furniture are not very suitable for a very small baby, as there are a lot of corners tohit (particularly for the glass table in the main room, some corner cushions would have been useful), but everything went OK. The staff at the front desk was helpful (one even spoke Italian!) and found us a place to park very close to the apartment. The location is strategic: quiet but very close to the centre (3 minutes by foot to the Charles Bridge), with lots of services around: shops, restaurants, farmacy, etc. They come to clean every day, which is not obvious for a self catering apartment, but in such a large apartment we could find some minor deficiencies in cleaning. The only real regret was we couldn't watch TV: we had some problems wit the satellite receiver, we asked for help to the staff and they said they would send a technician, but we didn't see him (nor the TV) for the next 3 days. Anyway, the overall experience was excellent and we would recommend this solution particularly for people with children, as you can cook what you want, stay home (it DID look like our home”
